Terms of Service

These terms apply to playing on Ironhold Penitentiary ("Ironhold", "we", "us") and to anything you buy from the Ironhold store. By joining the server or making a purchase, you agree to them. Please also read the server rules, which are part of these terms.

Ironhold is not an official Minecraft product and is not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft.

1. Playing on Ironhold

• You need a genuine Minecraft: Java Edition account to play.
• You're responsible for what happens on your account. Don't share it.
• Follow the server rules. Staff may warn, mute, kick or ban players who break them, as described there.
• Ironhold is a game world. Items, money, ranks and progress inside it have no real-world value and can't be exchanged for real money (selling or buying them for real money is against the rules).
• We may reset ("wipe") progress, change how the game works, or take the server offline for maintenance. We'll announce planned wipes on our Discord.

2. The store

• Purchases are handled by Tebex, which processes the payment as the seller on our behalf. Tebex's own checkout terms also apply when you pay.
• Everything in the store is cosmetic: it changes how things look, never how the game plays. Nothing in the store gives a gameplay advantage.
• What you buy is a license to use the cosmetic on Ironhold. It isn't real property, can't be transferred to another account, and has no cash value.
• Items are delivered automatically to the Minecraft username entered at checkout, usually within a few minutes. Please make sure the username is spelled correctly.
• One-time purchases are yours to keep for as long as the server runs, including through wipes.
• Supporter is a monthly subscription. It renews automatically each month until you cancel it, and you can cancel at any time. After cancelling, Supporter stays active until the end of the period you've paid for.
• We may adjust, rename or replace cosmetics over time (for example, if a game update changes how they work). If something you bought is removed, we'll replace it with something of similar value.
• If you're under 18, please get permission from a parent or guardian before buying anything.

3. Refunds and chargebacks

• Because items are delivered right away, all sales are final, except where the law requires otherwise or where an item wasn't delivered because of a problem on our side. If something didn't arrive, contact us within 14 days and we'll fix it or refund you.
• If you dispute a payment with your bank or payment provider (a "chargeback") instead of contacting us, the items from that payment are removed and your account is suspended from the server until the dispute is resolved.
• Being banned for breaking the rules does not entitle you to a refund.

4. Availability

We work hard to keep Ironhold running, but we can't promise it will always be online, error-free, or available forever. If Ironhold ever shuts down permanently, we'll give notice on our Discord.

5. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to play or buy after a change means you accept the updated terms.
